TDE signee SZA has talked about her social anxiety in interviews, but she always seems remarkably composed on wax. In the video to her single "Ice Moon," which dropped last week, she's at ease as she alternates between a loose dress and a football jersey that mimics the song's soft flow. Now there's "Ice Moon Revisited", a sequel featuring her TDE companion Ab-Soul. The lyrics are frank and unexpected in what might otherwise sound like a fairly standardized slow jam; for this sorta-remix, SZA adjusts her delivery from loosened-up to icy and languorous, suiting Felix Snow's shimmering beat. As previous singles "Julia" and "Castles" have proven, Snow's the producer that SZA can most count on—and then there's Ab, offering a self-help verse that turns into an attempt at seduction, a nod to TDE unity that's driven home by one of the crew's favored mantras closing out the song.
